Suzanne Thompson began her artistic life as a weaver at Berea College, joining the heated discussion, “is-it-art-or-is-it-craft?” firmly (because she was young) on the side of creativity defining art. She earned her MFA from Florida State University (after choosing the school for the weather) because she wanted to educate.   She continues that need to share with others in her current work.
